Chief Operating Officer / QA Coordinator

Sandy Griffin, LPN, CHPLN, BSHA serves as the Chief Operating Officer/QA Coordinator of HOPE Healthcare and Hospice Bayou Country. She started her nursing career in 1994 and has worked in hospice care since 2003. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Healthcare Administration in 2022.

As a hospice nurse, she has had the privilege of caring for many patients and families in her community. Over the years, she has developed her passion and knowledge for hospice and became certified in Hospice and Palliative Care in 2017.

Serving our community is a priority, and she volunteers as the Hospice Designated Regional Coordinator for Region 3 and participates in the LMHPCO Task Force for Health Disparities and Inequity.

Sandy says, “It is an honor to be able to care for patients and families at this time in their life. Whatever we can do to make it better, that’s what I want to do for them.”
